How to Have FotoFacial Treatments

Fotofacial treatments (also known as photo facial or intense pulse light therapy) refer to a cosmetic surgery procedure used to treat many facial problems, from those caused by aging (fine wrinkles and sun spots) to scars. Some surgeons are also using fotofacial treatments to treat large pores, although this practice is controversial because the size of pores cannot be actually changed.

Prepare for the procedure well in advance. While the treatment itself is quick (30 minutes) and painless, you will more than likely have to prepare the skin in advance by avoiding sun exposure, using special gels and creams and avoiding certain products and medications.

Apply the raw apple cider vinegar/water cloth to your face. Cover the apple cider vinegar cloth with a towel wrung out in hot water. Lie down for 10 minutes, preferably with legs elevated. This brings more blood to the face, which helps rejuvenate skin cells.

Remove both cloths. Gently rub skin upward with a loofah or coarse towel. Repeat weekly or as needed.
