How to Prevent an Uneven Skin Tone

To prevent an uneven skin tone you should avoid a lot of sunlight. Ultraviolet light can damage the skin. An uneven build up of melanin causes uneven skin tone. Exposure to sunlight and those prone to oily skin are likely to get dark spots and uneven skin tone. Those with oily skin have a shortage of selum, leading to uneven skin patches. Protecting your skin will help prevent an uneven skin tone. This article will demonstrate a few organic skin care remedies to use to help treat skin blemishes, dark spots on the face, and help even your skin tone. Some of these home remedies should help provide an even skin tone.

    Protect your skin. Exposure to ultraviolet light causes an uneven buildup of melanin. Protect your skin by wearing sunscreen, hats, glasses, and proper clothing when you're exposed to a lot of sunlight. Avoid tanning beds as well, since they can cause a lot of dark spots. Tanning beds aren't good for your skin's health at all.

    Making a lemon juice and egg face mask. Lemon juice fade freckles, blemishes, dark circles under your eyes, and provides a youthful look. Take one egg white, along with two teaspoons of lemon juice. Add in 1/2 a teaspoon of vitamin E. Mix well, then apply to your face. Leave it on your face for 15-20 minutes. Wash with warm water. You should notice a much more even skin tone immediately.

    Making a cucumber face mask. Cucumber has been known to fade dark circles, blemishes, and dark spots. Apply two cucumbers to a food processor. Add in one egg white. Then two drops of lemon juice. Apply to your entire face. Leaving it on your face for 15-20 minutes. Wash with warm water.

    Making a potato face mask. Potatoes can help lighten your skin tone. Very effective like cucumbers. Cut up one potato into slices, peel the skin. Add to a food processor. Mix in one egg white with 1/4th a cup of potato juice. Apply to your entire face. Leave it there for 15-20 minutes, then wash with warm water.

    Making a honey, olive oil and lemon juice face mask. Mix together two tablespoons of honey, with a teaspoon of lemon juice. Combine with another teaspoon of olive oil. Apply to your entire face. Leave it there for 15-20 minutes. Rinse with warm water.

Mica also helps minimize the appearance of dark circles and conceals any loose skin around the eye area.

    Apply the eye-lifting serum underneath and above the eye, just above the eyebrows. Apply it after you put on your foundation and powder since their ingredients have a tendency to break down the serum.

Homemade Facials That Tighten the Neck

If you suffer from a little thing called Turkey Neck, there are some simple, homemade remedies you can whip up to put a stop to your gobbling days. Homemade neck masks are a less-severe approach to tightening your flabby skin than those purchased through a store. Through the use of fruit and other typical household products, you can treat your gobbler, and save money at the same time.

Turkey Neck Cream

    As you age, so does your skin, leaving it more susceptible to wrinkling and sagging. To fight the gobble once it begins, combine a few items found around the house for your best defense against the waggle. Pour a berry-sized amount your favorite brand of facial scrub into a dish. Add a teaspoon of alum powder, which can be found in the spice section of your local grocery store, to the facial scrub. Add a few drops of water; mix the three ingredients into a paste. Apply this solution to your neck for 20 minutes a day, and you should begin to see results in a week or two.

Loose the Gobble Paste

    When making masks to tighten the loose skin on your neck, use homemade facials designed for your face with successful results. Make a facial tightening mask that works great for neck gobbles by mixing some glycerine, which you can find at your local pharmacy, some honey, egg white and a bit of flour together. Add 1 tsp. of glycerine, 1 tbsp. honey and the white of one egg to a dish. Beat these ingredients until creamy, add a pinch of flour, mixing after each pinch to make a creamy paste. Apply to the neck area, and face if desired; wash off with warm water after 10 minutes.

Peel Away the Waggle

    A mask that not only tightens your skin, but also cleans your pores, can be a double treat for your skin. Create a peeling mask that tightens that flab on your neck by combining gelatin, cold milk and an egg white together. Put 1 tbsp. unflavored gelatin and 1 1/2 tbsp. cold milk in a small pan, and melt completely over low heat by stirring constantly. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly before adding the egg white. Mix until creamy; apply to your neck, once cool enough to touch. Allow to dry completely for 30 minutes. Peel the mixture off, or remove with a warm cloth. Apply a moisturizer to the area to soothe any tingling, and do this every other day.

Apple and Honey Gobble Buster

    Many things can be used around the house that tighten your skin, which cost less than harsh chemicals, and is better for your skin and the environment. By using fruit and natural products, you may also find the smell much more pleasing. One of the simplest tightening masks you can make at home uses an apple and some honey. Peel, core and dice up one medium apple; any kind will do. Put the apple into a blender along with 2 tbsp. honey. Blend all the ingredients together until pureed. Cool the mixture in the refrigerator before using. Apply to your neck, and leave on for 15 minutes. Wash off with warm water, and do this daily for the best results.
