Prevage is a very popular anti-wrinkle cream from Elizabeth Arden's makeup product line. Beauty industry experts and users all swear by this anti-wrinkle cream, some even labeling it a "miracle product" for keeping pesky lines and wrinkles at bay and prolonging youth. However, as with any cosmetic product, there are always some potential side effects that result from regular application.
Considerations
Before you think about applying Prevage anti-wrinkle cream to your face, consider some of the rare but possible side effects that you may experience. Warning
If you have darker skin, there is another possible side effect that could result from using Prevage. On tan and browner skin tones, Prevage can produce an irritation that can result in skin discoloration. If you have darker skin, you should test Prevage on a small area of your skin (preferably not on the face) before facial application.
Potential
People using certain products or undergoing certain treatments also have the potential to be more prone to Prevage-induced side effects. If you are using any products that contain large amounts of hydroquinone or vitamin A products like Retinol, Retin-A or Tretinoin cream, consult your doctor before using Prevage. Also, if you are undergoing extensive skin treatments such as laser resurfacing, chemical peels or dermabrasion, you should probably wait until your procedure is completely finished before starting with Prevage.

If you have average skin sensitivity, start out by using Prevage once a day. After that point, if you don't notice any negative skin reactions (such as redness, swelling, discoloration, itching, burning sensations, etc.) you can start applying Prevage twice a day (morning and night, preferably).
