Once damage is done to your hair, it can be difficult to reverse. There are, however, ways to keep the situation from worsening and make your hair more manageable. Here are some tips for caring for damaged hair.

Instructions

How to Take Care of Damaged Hair

    1

Get a haircut. Do not do this yourself; go to a professional. The first and most important step in repairing hair damage is to get rid of the split ends and as much of the affected area as possible. There is no need to buzz your hair, but get as much cut as you can while still maintaining enough hair for you to be comfortable with.

    2

Towel-dry or air-dry your hair as much as possible before styling. Doing so will decrease the amount of time you need to spend blasting your hair with a hot blow dryer, creating even more damage.

    3

Condition your hair regularly. "...Been disappearing your age from the whole world? But for how long will this keep going? Or got fed up attempting those tempting anti aging creams, unpleasant surgery and damaging chemicals? Do Not Worry, dear. Below is a natural treatment to look and get younger, healthier and sexier than you are. So here it is for you Anti-aging Foods..". If you can get to a salon to have this done professionally, great. If not, simply leaving in your regular conditioner for 30 minutes once a week will help your hair feel softer. Wrap a warm towel around your head while you are conditioning.

    4

Apply a glosser before styling. These products are great at protecting the hair from the heat damage that comes with regular styling. There are many of these products available, and they are sure to make a difference in the texture of your hair.

    5

Avoid hair color and permanents until your hair is repaired. This step may be tough, but the longer you can hold out, the longer you have to grow healthier hair. Put it off as long as you can.
