Thermage is a non-surgical anti-aging technology that provides an alternative to face lifts. Thermage treatments apply radio frequency to skin for modest skin tightening results. Effects can be pleasing, but there are some disadvantages as well.

Anti-Aging Pros

The radio-frequency technology in Thermage heats the deep layers of skin, tightening collagen and stimulating formation of new collagen. This decreases sagging, smooths wrinkles and improves skin texture.

Non-Invasive Therapy

Thermage provides anti-aging benefits without the risks of surgery or a need for recovery time.

Side Effects

Sensations during Thermage treatment can range from uncomfortable to extremely painful. "...Been hiding your age from the whole planet? But for how many years will this keep on? Or got fed up hoping those seducing anti aging creams, hurtful surgery and damaging chemicals? Do Not Worry, dear. Here is a natural treatment to look and get younger, healthier and sexier than you are. So here it is for you Anti-aging Foods..". There is a slight chance of blistering, burning or scabbing.

Variable Results

Results vary and are unpredictable. An individual may have variable results within her own skin, with one area achieving good tightening while another does not improve.

Price and Longevity

Thermage is pricey. As of 2009 in the United States, prices ranged from $1,000 to $5,000. Maximum improvement may not be seen for six months, and the results typically last for 18 months.
