The Clarisonic Opal is an electric "sonic infusion" personal grooming device. It essentially vibrates very rapidly, creating radio or acoustical waves. Clarisonic's "Anti-Aging Sea Serum" on the vibrating end of the device is infused into the skin, according to Clarisonic. Infusion is something between simple topical application and injection. Clarisonic claims using the Opal infuser with the proprietary serum hydrates the skin, firms the skin and improves texture, and reduces puffiness and dark circles. The Opal infuser comes in white and black. Using the Opal is relatively simple.

Charge the Opal if it's your first time to use it or if it needs a charge. Attach the cord to the charging base and plug it into an outlet. Place the base on a flat surface. Make sure the cap is on the Opal device, and place the device on the charging base. You should hear a vibration and see a blue light flickering. This means the unit is charging. 2Remove the Opal from the charger and remove the cap. There is a small indentation on the side of the cap that dispenses the serum. Push this to dispense serum onto the small round applicator of the Opal. Just a drop in the center is fine; do not fill beyond the ring of the applicator.
3Place the applicator on the skin and press the power button. Use circular strokes around the base of the eye area and follow the orbital bone. Do not get close to your eyelids. Each push of the power button will allow for 30 seconds of treatment.
4Push the dispenser button again to put serum on the applicator, and repeat Step 3 on the other side of your face. Use the Opal morning and night.
