How to Use a Derma Wand

The Derma Wand rejuvenates facial skin and massages it, to improve circulation. Skin appears more toned, tighter, smoother and wrinkles are reduced. Additionally, the Derma Wand cleanses skin, allowing it to breathe. As a result, eyebrows are lifted, skin folds are removed, cheek puffiness is diminished, pores appear smaller, laugh lines appear smaller and lines and wrinkles appear softer, less visible.

Instructions

    Wash your face with a cleanser and rinse it off completely with warm water. Pat dry with a towel.

    Smooth a nickel-sized amount of moisturizer over neck and face, using your clean fingertips. Be careful when applying moisturizer or eye cream around this sensitive area.

    Start with the lowest setting to feel the Derma Wand sensation in the form of gentle tingling, but move on to a higher level when you no longer feel this sensation. Continue intensifying the sensation by increasing the settings, until you find a setting you are comfortable with. This setting should be sensitive enough for your skin.

    Plug in the Derma Wand. Remove the bulb cap. Turn the dial on the Derma Wand to Setting 1. The bulb will start glowing, once you touch your skin with it. It takes about a minute for the bulb to glow. Test it on the back of your hand.

    Start with the neck, moving the Derma Wand over it using a linear, up and down, motion. Then, move onto your face. Move it continually, without stopping. It should take you two minutes to move the Derma Wand over the entire neck and face areas.

    Use the Derma Wand on puffy eyes, eyebrows, forehead, chin and jowls 3 to 4 times a week, in addition to the two minute general use described above.

    For puffy eyes, apply an eye firming cream, then move the Derma Wand from the outside of the eye to the nose, sweeping it underneath the eye and keeping it close to the bone. Move on to the eyelid, ending at the outside of the eye. Repeat 5 to 6 times for each.

    Apply a moisturizer to your eyebrow area and forehead. Move the Derma Wand from the inner edge of your eyebrow, up towards your hairline. Apply light pressure and it hold for a count of three. Then, start at the center of the eyebrow and move towards the outer edge. Repeat each exercise 5 or 6 times for each eye.

    For the chin and jowls, apply moisturizer first, then place the Derma Wand at the center of your chin and move it along the line of your chin, towards your earlobe using light pressure. At the earlobe, hold the Derma Wand for a count of three and lift the Derma Wand from your skin. Then, start at the center of the chin, and move the Derma Wand up to the corner of the mouth. Hold for a count of three, and remove from skin. Start at the center of the chin again and move Derma Wand up to the side of the nose, hold for a count of three and remove. Repeat each exercise on each side, 5 or 6 times.

    Apply moisturizer if desired, after using Derma Wand. Unplug the device.
