The world is full of frustrations that can contribute to premature aging. As we rush from work obligations to family obligations without any time to rest and care for ourselves, the effects of this lifestyle can begin to show in our bodies and faces. When the signs of premature aging begin to show themselves, it is time to look for the causes and address the problem.

Poor Diet

Poor nutrition is one of the obvious causes of premature aging. While aging is a natural process, it can be sped up when we do not feed our bodies with the nutrients that it needs to be strong and healthy. A diet that is rich in antioxidants is a natural and easy approach to premature aging that can have great affect on the way that you look and feel.

Antioxidants in the diet can fend off premature aging by fighting the cell destroying free radicals that are a manufactured by the body. Antioxidant rich foods include strawberries, blueberries, spinach and blackberries. The foods that you eat help to determine how well new cells are produced that affects the way your body will age.

Stress

Stress affects premature aging in a couple of different ways. The first way that a hectic lifestyle may affect the way that your body ages is due to lack of care. Constantly running from one thing to another leaves little time for proper nutrition or self-care. Living this way can leave its mark on your skin and body and make you look much older than you really are. The body also releases stress hormones that are actually healthy when released in small amounts. When the body is under chronic stress, the hormones are constantly released and this can have a negative effect on the skin.

Lack of Exercise

Taking care of the body is more than just providing proper nutrition. A lack of exercise and a sedentary lifestyle will cause excessive fat stores and sagging of the skin. Premature aging also results in muscle loss, and without a regular regimen of exercise including weight-bearing exercises, muscles are lost much faster. Exercise also produces energy and increases stamina. Without regular exercise and movement, the body begins to lose energy and strength.

Skin Care

Skin care products designed for aging skin can provide the moisture that older skin requires. Cosmetic products such as moisturizers will only fend off aging skin for a short time, but caring for the skin is one of the best ways to keep wrinkles and fine lines at bay. The sun can also cause the skin to age prematurely. "...Been disappearing your age from the whole world? But for how much time will this go on? Or got fed up hoping those appealing anti aging creams, uncomfortable surgery and unhealthy chemicals? Do Not Worry, dear. Below is a natural remedy to look and get younger, healthier and sexier than you are. So here it is for you Anti-aging Foods..". The ultraviolet rays from the sun cause damage to the skin. With tanning or constant exposure to the sun the skin loses its ability to repair itself. This results in age spots and deep wrinkles.

Environmental Factors

The environment we live in has the ability to cause premature aging. The sun is an obvious environmental cause of aging, but pollution and toxic substances can damage the body's ability to heal and repair. Smoking or cigarette smoke damages the skin as well as harsh soaps and detergents used to clean the skin. Alcohol and drugs also cause premature aging if they are used in excess.
